I am a graduate of the 750-hour training program with Esther Myers Yoga Studio, and have been teaching for 18 years.
I specialize in relaxation and mindfulness based yoga, offering small group classes as well as private and semi-private sessions.
My approach is facilitative rather than prescriptive. No cookie-cutter series or poses here. Just a guided class with lots of options and modifications. My aim is to help you to find ways that the practice — poses, breath work, mindfulness, relaxation practices — can work for you.
All classes are geared toward accessing rest and relaxation for the nervous system. My Yoga For Anxiety classes include an informal discussion component. Having a non-judgemental and supportive environment can help you find your way out of anxious patterns and access more ease in your daily life.
